keita is a 8-year old boy from a Belgian-Japanese family. During the summer break, he spends two weeks with his grandparents at the Flemish countryside. Keita has a difficult relationship with his grandfather and they are both put to the test when they are forced to live under the same roof.
with their short movie The Allegory of the Jar, directors duo Ruth Mellaerts & Boris Kuijpers won the price of the jury and the price of the public on the international Shortfilmfestival of Leuven in 2015. This year they are back with The Day the Dogs Disappeared.
